Welcome to our B+B in Besançon. Marie-Claude and Jean-Pierre will be happy to receive you in their home and help you discover the amenities of Besançon and its region. A good opportunity to practise your French if you wish, or a chance to be guided in English, as Jean-Pierre is a (former) English teacher.

Our city is the seat of the CLA, the Centre for Applied Linguistics, and students of French from all over the world come to Besançon to study French language and culture. In the same spirit, we mean to offer, not only a room and breakfast, but a chance to learn about our culture, appreciate our cuisine, discover our well-protected environment.

Le Jardin de Velotte is situated in a quiet and green district, 10mn by bus from the "boucle", the city centre (the river Doubs forms a loop around the old fortified town) and its citadel. We offer two simple, yet comfortable, rooms, one with a double bed, the other with twin beds. They share a bathroom and kitchenette.

Breakfast can be had in our living-room, or in the conservatory, or on the open-air deck, or again in the garden, depending on the weather and your preferences.
